About Dr. Graham

Dr. Graham is a Florida licensed acupuncture physician and an herbalist certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  She maintains a private practice in Miami and also practices and lectures about Chinese Medicine at the world-reknown integrative health center at Canyon Ranch, Miami Beach. She graduated from the University of Miami in 1992 (Honors B.A., Phi Beta Kappa) and from New York University School of Law (J.D., 1996).  After graduating at the top of her class from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, New York with a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine, Dr. Graham studied under physicians at Shuguang Hospital, a large top-tier hospital in Shanghai, China where she received focused training in Acupuncture, Gynecology, Oncology, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. Graham has treated hundreds of patients in various clinical settings, such as the Veteran’s Administration Hospital Neurology Department Pain Clinic (NYC), Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center’s Cancer Center (NYC) and Yonkers General Hospital Detoxification-Rehabilitation Unit (Yonkers, NY).  In addition, Dr. Graham is certified in Luminous Beauty Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation techniques.  She is certified in NADA, the international detoxification acupuncture protocol, and is also a Reiki Master with formal training in massage and cranio-sacral therapy.  She is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Although the practice of Chinese Medicine for healing and the restoration of balance is her chosen path, it was not Dr. Graham’s first career.  Dr. Graham practiced corporate finance law at the prestigious New York law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore before working as in house counsel for Time Warner.  It was Dr. Graham’s legal practice which brought her to live in Hong Kong, where she was first exposed to the art of Chinese Medicine, her true calling.  Dr. Graham is committed to the mastery of this elegant and holistic approach to health, which integrates the ease of suffering with the actualization of maximum healthful functioning of body, mind and spirit.

Dr. Graham’s heartfelt care for others began early as a strong call to service.  As a small sample of her activities, in 1992 she received a Presidential service award for her work at a Miami at-risk child center.  While studying Chinese Medicine, she crafted an Academic Honor Code for her acupuncture college and provided low-cost acupuncture to government housing residents of Manhattan’s Lower East Side.  She also served as General Counsel to the Chinese Medical Science Foundation, through which she was instrumental in the creation of the first American fellowship training program for acupuncturists at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Center in New York, New York.
