Payments.
You can make payments in cash, check or any major credit card. Payment is due in full at the time of service or when you pick up your herbal medicinals or other products.
Acupuncture Treatment Packages.
We offer several different packages to make your treatments more effective and affordable. We will be happy to discuss these during your consultation. Packages are available for many different issues, including:
Chronic Pain: Sometimes chronic pain patients need more treatments with greater frequency at the beginning of a treatment course to achieve best and lasting results. We therefore discount chronic pain packages of a number of treatments, depending on your presenation.
Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation: The Luminous Beauty Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation treatment course is discounted by more than the cost of a single treatment when the entire series of 12 sessions is paid for in advance. See About Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation.
Quick Stick $10 Treatments: To encourage good health, these quick treatments for smoking cessation and wellness are priced low and the 11th is free! See $10 Quick Stick.
Gift Certificates.
We are pleased to offer Gift Certificates for services (not goods). Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash.
Insurance.
The time it takes to manage an insurance reimbursement-based practice increases administrative time and decreases patient time, which is not in accord with our philosophy. Therefore we generally do not accept insurance patients, but rather try to keep treatment costs within reach. Certain insurance companies offer discount programs for acupuncture treatment, which we will honor (including United Health Care).
Corporate FlexSpending Accounts. Check with your benefits team to see if you can use your flexspend account towards treatment. Most of these plans are annual “use it or lose it” accounts, so if you do not anticipate an event requiring large medical expenditures and you have funds in this account, consider wellness acupuncture treatments!
No-Shows and Late Cancellations. When you make an appointment, we are reserving time just for you. When you give less than 24 hours notice of cancellation, we are unable to offer that time to a another patient who might be waiting for an appointment. It is our policy to bill you for no shows and late cancellations, after the first one (which is given grace). No-Shows and late cancellations due to inclement weather, emergencies or other catastrophies will not incur fees.
When you visit us for treatment, you may be asked to initial a copy of these “Payments, Packages and Policies” for your file.
Thank you for your courtesy and understanding.
